About Mama
My mum Roberta’s first childhood memory is the rhythmic bubbling of the ragù on the stove, wrapped in a warm fragrance as she woke up; her grandmother would put it on to cook at dawn every Sunday, just to treat her to a comforting lunch. Cooking in our family has always been a tender expression of affection, often more meaningful than any words or hugs. My own favourite childhood memory (Giorgia’s) is my mum’s quick hands peeling seasonal fruit.
Around six years ago, we combined my mum’s skills — built over more than 30 years of catering and organizing private parties — with my deep knowledge of our country’s culinary traditions, stories and the English language. Following our passion has given us the opportunity, over the years, to meet many new friends from all over the world, brought together by the awareness that there is nothing more soul-renewing than getting your hands into the dough!

Mama's Home
Our bright and welcoming apartment is located in the heart of the Parioli district, framed by two of Rome’s most beautiful parks: Villa Borghese and Villa Ada. Its proximity to the city centre, while still being a very exclusive residential area, makes it easy to reach by public transport or with a pleasant walk through one of the two historic parks. The spacious and well-kept rooms, the large living room with fireplace and the roomy kitchen allow us to host up to 10–12 people, ensuring an intimate and family-like atmosphere.
